You may have heard CAD companies talking about Digital Prototyping and wondered what the phrase meant (you may have dismissed it as marketing-speak). However at Project Engineering we use Digital Prototyping all the time and can see its many benefits. We decided to decipher this phrase by preparing an explanation based on our experiences.

Project Engineering: Preferred Supplier of Mechanical Design Services

We are pleased to announce that Project Engineering has been selected the Preferred Supplier of Mechanical Design Services to MacFab Systems Ltd (Concrete Products).

MacFab Systems Ltd (Concrete Products) manufacture a range of pre-stressing beds for the concrete industry. MacFab Systems Ltd’s beds are used to produce concrete products such as; pre-stressed floor panels, pre-stressed wall panels, pre-stressed tee-beams and pre-stressed lintels.

Project Engineering will provide engineering design for high loaded components and will also provide detailed manufacturing drawings to enable MacFab Systems Ltd to manufacture the complex bed assemblies efficiently and accurately.

Our Client AquaWatch Wins Environmental Innovation Award

Congratulations to our Project Engineering Client AquaWatch who recently took the runner up spot in the Environmental Innovation Awards at the Resource Ireland Exhibition held in the RDS, Dublin on the 13th and 14th of October. AquaWatch saw off tough competition from twenty two other entries to take the runner up spot behind a well established UK company. This was a great achievement for a start up company like AquaWatch.

What is AquaWatch? The company’s website provides this description “AquaWatch is a water conservation and leak alert device that works in conjunction with the customer's water meter. The average daily use is calculated and programmed into the device. The red flashing light alerts the consumer if they are using excessive amounts of water or when they have an ongoing leak.”

Announcement: New partnership to provide Lean Training & Consultancy
